OUR MISSION

ISGSD is investing in the future of soccer through professional clubs and vertical and horizontal integration opportunities that enhance their commercial and community success.

Our objective is to play a meaningful part in the transformation of the football landscape, particularly for women and girls in the United States, all while adding value for the players, fans, investors, and corporate sponsors.

THE TEAM

Casey Stoney

Casey is a decorated professional football manager and player and has been instrumental in establishing two successful professional women’s football teams, Manchester United and San Diego Wave. Casey played professionally at Arsenal, Chelsea, Lincoln, and Liverpool, receiving numerous awards on and off the field. She competed in more than 100 games for England’s National team and was captain from 2012-2014 and captain of the English Olympic Team in 2012.

In 2018, Casey was appointed as the inaugural head coach of the newly formed Manchester United Women’s team, winning the FA Women’s Championship in her first year. In 2021, Casey became the inaugural head coach of the San Diego Wave, becoming NWSL season champions in 2023 and winning the Challenge Cup in 2024.

Casey was appointed Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) in recognition of her contribution to British football and currently serves as the Head Coach for the Canadian Women’s National Team.

Megan Harris

Megan brings extensive soccer experience, combining her background as a professional player and team captain for Lincoln Ladies Football Club in the English FA Super League and later having a leadership role within the club. She led efforts in talent cultivation, focusing on building a competitive women’s team and fostering a culture of success.

Megan excels in areas such as player development, team dynamics, and creating a strong organizational culture. Her strategic vision has been instrumental in driving growth and success at every level of the game.

Eric Lingenfelder

Eric is an investor and entrepreneur in the hospitality industry as well as real-estate, retail, life-style and clothing brands, and is a partner at Verant Group. He is a San Diego native and graduate of San Diego State University. Eric has dedicated himself to enhancing the local community, previously serving as president of the Pacific Beach Business Improvement District and providing mentorship to the next generation of San Diego entrepreneurs.

Rob McRae

Rob has served in executive roles at public and private biotechnology companies. He is a founding member of technology and biotech companies and serves in advisory roles for academic and community organizations. Rob was a collegiate athlete and youth coach and holds a strong belief in the impact that athletics have on youth and the community.

Salar Parvini

Salar has nearly 20 years of experience in business development and organizational management across various industries, including health and medical sciences, renewable energy, skincare, cosmetics, and sports. He has also served as a political consultant for several NGOs in California, advising on these industries. Salar’s passion for growing professional women’s soccer launched the journey for ISGSD.
